T A I L O R I N G

I currently work as a independent contractor for KN Custom Sewing. It started as a summer job that then turned into an internship and now I'm a well integrated part of the team. We offer tailoring services for anything and everything; RTW, business wear, children's, military, homewares, and a strong focus in formal attire. We are particularly specialized in bridal which includes wedding gowns, bridesmaids dresses, suits, and mother-of-the-bride and -groom attire.

 

While at KN, I've also had the opportunity to take on custom sewing projects. Some of my favorites include the two-fer dress shown to the left and below. I achieved this bride's vision of a sheer lace top she wanted to wear over a bodysuit and then we re-built her existing skirt to help with sheerness concerns. Below you will also see another bride with a short gown we made from scratch that includes hand sewn lace applique and beading. Due to COVID and a change of wedding date, we needed to accommodate this short dress for potential colder weather so I came up with the solution of a convertible satin skirt to wear for her ceremony. Lastly is a baptism gown that I created from an existing wedding gown from the mom-to-be.
